La semaine du spatial

March 21, 2016 - March 25, 2016
Running from 21 to 25 March 2016, Nanosatellite Week was organised by the CSUG for businesses, international researchers and the public to discuss the topic of miniaturised space solutions.

The week began with a workshop: ‘The Future of Nanosatellites’. These two days were structured around thought-provoking conferences promoting discussion regarding developments in the field of miniaturisation for space applications over the next three decades. You can find out more about the workshop and a summary of the speeches on the dedicated website.

On Thursday 24 March 2016, the ‘A scientist in space’ conference was held in Amphi Weil. It was an opportunity for Grenoble’s own Jean-Jacques Favier to reminisce about his adventure starting on 20 June 1996, during which he spent 16 days and 21 hours in zero gravity.

Lastly, the Zegrensat/ATISE project was presented to the CNES engineers to check its progress, uniting researchers from all over the world (in particular from MIET in Zelenograd), local businesses like Air Liquide and students from the Université Grenoble Alpes.
