Présences, the business magazine published by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Grenoble, has dedicated the September edition of its supplement to the Université Grenoble Alpes. There, you will find a page devoted to the UGA Foundation and another to its flagship projects, including Grenoble University Space Centre. The CSUG fosters collaboration between industrial players, researchers and students from a wide variety of courses. Together, they are working to make the Grenoble area the benchmark for miniaturisation of space instruments.
The first cubesat will be launched into space in 2018. Air Liquide was the CSUG’s first corporate sponsor.
As Xavier Vigor, CEO of Air Liquide Advanced Technologies, explains, “Our support of the CSUG via the UGA Foundation comes in the form of three-step sponsorship: cash, equipment and skills. It is an opportunity for us to further consolidate our involvement in the region in one of our areas of expertise: space.”
